Learn the basic techniques and practice in researching, preparing and writing grant proposals with emphasis on not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations. Topics include how to find funding sources, the differences among private, state and federal funding organizations, defining needs, structuring budgets, and writing the final document. Homework is part of the course--writing a grant proposal.
